The Instrument Rating Exams provide the essential testing components required by FAR Part 141. Students take a stage exam after each stage of ground training and the End-of-Course Exam at the completion of the ground training course.
Includes:
Instrument Rating Stage Exams — These stage exams are assigned at the completion of Stages I, II, and III of the Instrument Rating Course in the Instrument/Commercial Syllabus. The exams evaluate the student’s understanding of the knowledge areas within a stage.
End of Course Exam — This exam is assigned at the completion of the Instrument Rating Course in the Instrument/Commercial Syllabus. The exam contains sample FAA instrument rating test questions to help the student prepare for the FAA knowledge test.
